Check out these immersion blenders on sale at Amazon as of Sept. 21:

Cheddar and broccoli. Roasted tomato. Butternut. Pumpkin. Loaded baked potato. These are the soups made easy and deliciously creamy with the assistance of an immersion blender.

Even if you're not really a soup person (are you OK?), immersion blenders are still a good tool to have around. They can mix sauces, salsas, smoothies, and batters — they can even froth beverages. You can stick them straight into whatever container you're working with, so you don't have to worry about cleaning a whole blender or food processor when you're done cooking.

Obviously, there's a lot to love, so we rounded up a few of the best deals on immersion blenders at Amazon as of Sept. 21, so you can start your soup szn (or salsa, smoothie, etc. szn) off right. Snag one of our picks below.

BEST EVERYDAY CHOICE: Braun MultiQuick 5 Immersion Hand Blender — $51.95

Simple but effective — this should be the motto of the Braun immersion blender. It only has two speeds and one whisk attachment, but boy, does this blender know how to work. Powered by 300 watts and the good name of Braun, you'll have no trouble blending your soups into that just-right consistency night after night. The soft grip helps you hold tight with comfort and ease, so hot soup doesn't go flying everywhere. It may not be the most versatile, it may have a cord, but with the power of this blender and the reliability of the brand, this is a choice that'll carry you from soup season to soup season for a very reasonable price.

BEST BUDGET CHOICE: MegaWise Pro 5-in-1 Immersion Blender — $30.97

This blender boasts twelve speeds, has five functions, and currently sits at just over $30. It also comes with a whisk, chopping bowl, beaker, and milk frother. So if you're looking for an all-around immersion blender that can also be used for prepping ingredients and making your morning lattes, this could be the one for you.

If you plan on using the multiple functions on the daily, you might want to consider investing in a higher-priced model — budget options don't always hold up over time, especially with heavy use. However, this is a good tool that doesn't take up a ton of storage space.

BEST CORDLESS OPTION: KitchenAid Cordless Variable Speed Hand Blender — $79.00

Does this model cost a bit more? Yes. Does it also grant you the freedom of cordless immersion blending? Yes! You can get a full charge in only two hours that'll get you through at least 25 bowls of soup (according to KitchenAid). If you're more on the forgetful side, a quick 20-minute charge can get you where you need to go for a meal. You'll stick with just two speeds, but with 110 volts, you shouldn't have any problems getting a nice, thorough blend. Plus, there are some add ons available for purchase (like this seven-speed hand mixer) that could help you boost this blender's potential. If you're willing to drop a bit more cash and can remember to charge your devices (I say this as someone whose phone battery is almost always under 20%), this could be the blender for you.
